58. Cook a new food
So I had a few items in my fridge that I needed to get rid of before I move (ie I don't want to have to move them!), so I found a recipe for a cucumber dip that seemed like it might be tasty utilizing a few of those ingredients.
* 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
* 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
* 1 small onion, diced
* 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
* 1 teaspoon garlic salt
In a bowl, thoroughly blend the cream cheese, cucumber, onion, mayonnaise, and garlic salt. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator until serving.
Anyway.. it was quick (it'd be quicker with a blender, or a larger chopper, because my cm^3 cucumber pieces seemed a bit large), and it is quite tasty. I tried it with chips... you need sturdy chips for it. Its great on Ritz and Triscuits. Veggies? Eh its like veggie overload. Maybe not so much with the dipping veggie variety.
